Middle Years Socials Studies 9

Middle Years Social Studies 9 is an enriched course including the normal grade 9 curriculum but with extra tidbits added in. We started out the year with a bit of geography and maps. We drew two maps of our own fantasy island, one as an assignment, one as a project. We then finished up term one with the assassination of president John. F. Kennedy. We watched the movie "JFK" and were later assigned to write our own theory on the assassination. We are starting the English Civil War unit for term two.
