7 Habits Cleanup
Two examples of clean-up being win-win are:
1. If everyone helps out and cleans up, the next class will be happy with the clean condition of the room and if everyone at the end each class cleans, the next class will be happy and will clean up for the next class. It would be like a chain of classes cleaning up at the end of their block, and everyone will be happy.
2. If everythings strewn all over the place and its hard to get around or there are messes everywhere, it wont be much pleasing to the eye. If we synergize and clean up together, even looking at the clean classroom will make us feel good.
Get used to cleaning up after yourself and itll be a habit, not a boring task that you have to do. Cleaning up after yourself makes you more responsible and alert of what youre doing.
I prefer classrooms to be clean, not with tools and pieces of wood all strewn about the floor making it hard to walk around. I usually do my part of the clean up and if someone is having a hard time with their part, I help them. Attitude is everything when it comes to doing clean up. If you dislike cleaning up and have a negative attitude towards it, like who cares, then your job will be much harder to complete. However, if you have a good attitude, like 'Lets clean up!', then the time it takes will seem shorter. When you enjoy doing something, it seems to take a lot shorter time than if you hate doing something.
When we clean up, we should be thinking about how nice the classroom will look after everythings been put away and the fact that the next class will be pleased at how neat the classroom is.
